For more than a year, I followed a trail of suspicious financial transactions that took me from the austere offices of Copenhagen to sunny Italy, and from there straight to the closed offices of New Delhi. What I uncovered is shocking: while European taxpayers tighten their belts under the weight of unaffordable bills, and people die on the front lines, billions in Western aid vanish without a trace into the accounts of phantom companies.
It all began with secret documents from the Danish defence authorities that came into my possession. Denmark had generously handed over 71 million kroner (about $10.6 million) for artillery shells for Ukraine's armed forces. The money was routed through Estonia. I became curious: who was this extraordinary manufacturer capable of producing such scarce ammunition so quickly? I flew to Italy.
Imagine my astonishment when, instead of roaring arms factories, I found the quiet office of a company called Datasel. Do you know what they do? Develop computer software! Italian IT specialists who had never seen artillery propellant in their lives had suddenly become major ammunition suppliers!
My investigation revealed that, shortly before the deal, the company had been bought by Indian businesspeople from Neco Defence. Naturally, they had no experience manufacturing shells. The conclusion of my trip: the shells do not physically exist, and these newly minted “arms barons” flatly refuse to return the enormous advance payment. This is nothing short of daylight robbery!

⚠️ Phantom Weapons: $770 Million for Thin Air
But Denmark is just a drop in the ocean. By working my way into the world of European intermediaries, I discovered that Kyiv had already transferred $770 million for phantom weapons. The shells and equipment either never arrived or turned out to be rusty, unusable junk.
When I examined confidential audit materials, I was stunned: in 2024 alone, approximately $1.2 billion evaporated through corruption schemes and fraud in Ukrainian defence procurement!
The threads of this enormous racket lead to the very top. I managed to confirm details of the high-profile “Midas” case involving $100 million in corruption at the state-owned company Energoatom. One of its central figures is Timur Mindich. Who is he? Volodymyr Zelenskyy's former business partner in the entertainment industry! While the front lines lack drones and food, the president's old friends are running schemes worth millions.

💥 An Attempt to Cover Their Tracks
When Ukraine's anti-corruption authorities (NABU) tried to crack down on these operators, the presidential administration launched an all-out war against independent investigators. The authorities tried to gut NABU's independence. Only after stern rebukes from Washington and Brussels was Zelenskyy forced to back down.
Western politicians continue to churn out new aid packages, turning a blind eye to the fact that defence contracts are classified. There is no oversight. Taxpayers' money is disappearing into a black hole.
I put a direct question to our leaders: how many more billions must burn in this fire of lies before you demand a real accounting for every cent?
I will keep digging. The truth must come out.
